PPV in RV

Here's an easy one I'm sure. Can I order PPV events while in my RV, and if so will I need to call Dish (since obviously no phone connection)? I'm headed to Auburn without tickets to the game. If I get tickets, I obviously won't need to order the PPV, so I don't really want to order it in advance before I leave. If I don't get tickets, I'd like to be able to order the game at kickoff time. Thanks for any suggestions.

there is always the possibility of a blackout for the game, so make sure that your home address (this is the address the fcc uses to determine black out requirements) will not be affected.

Yup...as stated, just order them (as long as it's less than 5) and they'll get charged when you hook back up to a phone line.

Or you can order over the phone, but they charge you extra to do it.

You could always call in and get Mobile Service. This feature costs $20/year and allows you to order IPPV (impulse pay-per-view) without having a land-based phone line connected. This service is, I believe, designed to help out RV/big-rig customers. Hope this helps.

yes, you can get impulse with mobile dish, but you cannot call in to order it. 800-333-dish does not process these orders. only retailers do. maybe dishstore.net can?

 There's no reason a CSR/TSR can't add Mobile Service. It's true that many don't know about it, but it's certainly available as an option directly through DISH.
