Possible to Set Remote #2 to #1?

I'm getting a Dish 722K DVR and am only using it on one TV. I'd like to hide the receiver in a closet but can't with the inferred remote #1. Since I'm only using one TV I would like to use the UHF remote #2. Is this as easy as just not using remote #1?

If you are using the receiver in single mode then either the IR remote or the UHF remote can be used, they are interchangeable, but again only when the receiver is in Single Mode.

Make sure closet is well ventilated. Overheating the receiver will cause many problems.
