Possible New Show for SatelliteGuys Radio

Now that our listener hours are up there companies are coming to me offering their syndicated show for air on SatelliteGuys radio.

I have listened to a number of them, but one show stands out that fits our format well... its a show called "Retro 80's Weekend"

This one I am considering adding to our lineup and would air it on Saturdays from 7PM to 9PM as a nice lead in to Saturday Night Dance Party, and also considering re running it again on Sundays from 3pm to 5PM after the Polka Power Radio show.

I listened to the entire samples and thought the same. Sounds like what you are already playing. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing though. Some good 80's SLAYER and Metallica in there would be helpful LOL.

What really stuck out with the samples is it seemed almost like 2 songs, 5 minutes of commercials. Was it me or was the advertising excessive? Guess it is a moot point if you aren't going to add this show anyway.

as you said...there are others that are asking to become part of SatelliteGuys Radio......a better offer isn't too far into the future I bet......This would be a great add...if there isn't any cost: The Lost 45's with Barry Scott

It's on 100s of station...don't know if there is a cost to run it.....but thought it would be a good and interesting addition to SG Radio....

It would be fun to produce our own weekly top 10 show, counting down the top 10 from this day on one week of the 80's. Only thing I would be afraid of is where we got the chart data from as it might be copyrighted.

I would think a list of top 10 best selling singles or DVD players or anything else would just be a statistic. If you did your own show and playlisy using statistical data I wouldn't think there is a violation of anything.
