Portable PVR's Available
I found these online tonight which looks pretty interesting. A portable PVR that has a 7" screen and is on sale. By the time one spends this kind of money on one you could use a laptop to do that same thing that has a larger screen and will also do your computer and internet functionalities that the portable PVR cannot do and is upgradable. The portable PVR would be much easier to take with you with its small size.

I didn't know there was such a market for these things but the market seems to be huge if this many people have this type of product out. These people have already beat Dish to coming out with such a device. If only Dish would get their receivers the software needed to transfer the files to them.
