Pocketdish send to TV via 721

I connected my Pocketdish AV500e to the front panel inputs on my 721 and changed the 721 channel to channel 0. When I switch the Pocketdish from LCD display to TV display, what is displayed on my Panasonic plasma is horrible - messed up colors and horizontal lines.

What might I be doing wrong?

way back in my mind I recall something strange about the front panel inputs on the 721.

try turning on your pocketdish, switch to TV display, then turn on your 721. Having an input present on the front panel inputs when the unit is turned on may make a difference.
It might work.

Thanks so much, you had the correct answer. Tried it and it worked. I was going to try the pocketdish with another tv and also with my 622s to see if it was only 721 related, but now there is the answer.

Read carefully, this accomplishes playback from the pocketdish to the TV only (with the 721 sitting in between but not actually doing anything).
