I have been doing some research and found that purchased songs from iTunes or other websites still are protected. iTunes for example now has purchased songs in an m4p format.
Of course the PD (I have a 500E and love it) does NOT play m4p or protected music (even though you purchased it!!).
I found a way to convert these to MP3s (or WMAs) legally with a product called tune bite (www.tunebite.com).
There is also another product (freeware) for those of you lucky enough to have a version of iTunes below v6. www.hymn-project.org.
Once converted, the PocketDish can play any purchased songs that are MP3 or WMA...
