Installed a round rca dish with a 2 line lnb...i get only even channerls...i checked a the dish is set for round and 2 line lnb...i have a bit of a clear line of sight issue but thought if it was a real prob i would not get 90 plus sig strength on evens......anyone have any ideas.....i have a backup lnb to try if you think it could be bad...

Most of the time when only odd or even channels come in it is a voltage problem. Nominally 18V & 12V are sent out to change polarity check for a bad cable connection someplace in your run. A bad LNB could be your problem but a bad connection is more likely check your voltages if you can.

As boba mentioned, check the wires off the LNB. I had a bad line and it reported the same sort of results. The LNB could be bad as well. Might be time for a new dish. Call Directv and they will install a new one for you. If you can swing the size, not a bad idea to get the 5 LNB Slimline for future programming.
