Yes, I know, that Iceberg helped me once before about this subject.....Now I am having the same mental block...Was able to add 78W Simon Bolivar to the satellite list, that is as far as I got, without implementing/adding the "NEW" TPs to the satellite.

I also know that the "GREEN" button adds the new TPs to the satellite, but cannot get access to the new satellite, satellite 72W keeps popping in and don't want to edit that particular satellite, I do not know how to keep the 78W on the screen, to add the new TPs to it.

Can a good hearted person, please describe the whole procedure from beginning to end, so there is no gaps or hipcups....I must be skipping or adding a step somewhere. Read parts of the owner manual instruction on the screen, but cannot seem to find a smooth operation to what I wnat to do.

other than using the editor?

OK here goes
menu
down to second option (satellite stuff)
right arrow to "satellite list" (OK)
press "green button" to add satellite
type in satellite name
down arrow to put in longitude
to get the E to turn to W I up arrow then down arrow (back to the longitude) then right or left arrow to change to W (OK)
then press OK again to "heart" the satellite (put in list)
exit back
I would go to TP list to plug in a known transponder
After adding a TP back out and go into antenna setup to change LNB LO and any motor/switch functions

Ok Iceberg, I have previously done everything up to the "exit back" part, but when I go to the TP list, that is where the problem begings. After exiting back, what is the next window or step that I should see and perform. I lose continuity with the new added satellite, and cannot add the TPs to it, in this case 72W satellite keeps popping up so it can be modify, and not 78W. Cannot get 78W to show in the "List" modifying window or banner to add anything to it.

As I said, last time I was able to add 116.8W Ku band, had the same problem but somehow after pressing the "Green" button it eabled me to add it's TPs. This time, the same problem and cannnot proceed with the adding of the TPs to the new 78W satellite.

Knowing and performing the step that follows the initial "exit back", I am sure it will correct the present problem. I was able to do it once before, I don't know why I can't repete or do it again.

Thank You.

The TP list goes to the last satellite you were on (when I did this test to write up how to do it I was on 91...when I went to the TP list it brought up 91). When you add a satellite it puts it at the bottom of the list so just left or right arrow (probably left) until you get to the new satellite

just tried it and it worked fine
dish was on 125W (was watchig PBS)
I added a new sat named "test" and said it was at 148W
went into TP list and the 1st screen said 125W
right arrowed once (since 125W is the last satellite I have in list) and "test" showed up to add a TP
