Can it be done? I see that the file extension used by the sathawk is .dvr. Would there be some kind of conversion required?

I have a bunch of AVI video clips I'd like to watch on my LCD TV. If the Sathawk cant do it I might just have to buy a Boxee Box when they come out.

I'd opt for burning to a DVD. Haven't tried playing an avi with the openbox. Don't think it will work either, as it's not a supported file type as outlined in the specs. But I am trying to convert the dvr files to mpeg or avi or wma. No true success yet.

There's a small program called dvr to ts. I convert to ts then avi or mpg.
