Working friday through wednesday and going to school monday through friday means I'm on the road 7 days a week so I'm drained and taking a day off from school today.

Well good thing I did, daughters fever spiked to 103.9 and she couldn't keep fluids down so it was a trip to the ped to find out she has strep so now I have been up since 2am on what was supposed to be a day of needed rest. Talking to her ped it seems that they are seeing many kids repeatedly who aren't ones that normally come on and they are seeing a great deal of strep and flu right now. During our daughters parent teacher conference earlier this week her teacher said that many of the kids are out for 7 - 9 days at a time right now and its repeating, she herself was out with pneumonia and it wasn't that long ago that I had the wife at a clinic and they were seeing allot of respiratory illnesses and the flu. Our school has about a %20 illness call out rate right now as well due to the flu.
