Platinum HD

I apologize if this has been addressed already. I currently have a 3 month free trial of Platinum HD. It expires on August 15th, and I was going to contact customer service at that time to discontinue. If I elect to continue it at that time, will I have to pay an additional $10/month, or will it be added for free as part of the new programming packages?

Dish has not indicated what they plan to do with Platinum subscribers in the long term. If you like the package and want to keep the channels then you might want to request to be set up with the HD & Platinum package. Not sure if you will need to drop your PlatinumHD add on before you request it.

At this point you should have already received all of your credits, so I see no harm in trying to switch to the "HD & Platinum" now.
