I received Planet Earth today and wanted to give my impressions. After seeing on discovery channel I had to have this title. Great source material. Looks great. It also contained a slip in the box stating that this disc may have been made after your player and a firmware update may be necessary for playback. No problems here (I have firmware 2.2). If you liked this show on discovery channel you'll like it even better with HD DVD.

the hd dvd i have is of attenborough, and from what i can tell from amazon, that is all they have, no weaver in her tightie whities.

I don't think they have a Weaver version.

We're part way through disc 2 and this is some of the most amazing footage I've ever seen. I'm very happy that I bought this set.
