Good to see you have it up. I would find some stainless steel wire and tie across the gap at the top and in the middle.

If you look on one of the photos , you may see a bungie strap on the broken rib . Need to make a couple of brackets on each side of the break . Then bolt/screw/pop-rivit the brakets in place .

Then make a part to replace the missing part of the rim . I have some galvinized roofing flashing sheet metal that I may use to fill in the gap .
