I have a few newbie questions (installation expected this Sunday afternoon). I do not have a phone line near the TV and I don't care about PPV. However, I'm curious as to what sports programming I will not receive if I don't have a land-line connected to my receiver. I do not plan to subscribe to any specialty sports networks.

Second, if I do need a land-line connection, does that apply to all receivers in the house?

Third, if I do need a land-line connection, will someone please provide some examples of wireless phone jacks that are compatible with DirecTV?

Thanks,
JS

It makes NO difference, don't worry about the phone.
Have several clients w/NO phone & sports paks & they have no problems.
Only thing it affects is no remote PPV - you can order on-line.

it is my undersatnding that a phone line is required for Sunday Ticket.
Is this incorrect?
