Philips/Magnovox 27pt31b1 Device codes

I have fairly new 27 inch Tv from Philips/Magnovox. First of all my Tv worked great with my Digital Cable Receiver. I was able to turn on/off volume control the TV with my Cable receiver. But with the new 522 Unit from Dish Network I'm not getting anywhere. I've tried over 30 codes and called support 3 times. Is there a way to get it back to factory default? This is a pretty popular TV sold in major department stores! Thanks in advanced.

The Phillips probably plugged into the cable box and turned the power to the TV off.
