Phantom Recording

This just happened on my HR24-200. I was watching 2 channels via double-play. At 9:30 the DVR screen comes up stating "Manual recording on channel 8890" set to start at 9:32, giving me options on what to do with my double play like normal. I just let it play out, and the DVR recorded for 2 minutes 9:32-9:34, a blank screen, with no information in the guide. I don't know what that would mean, but I've nver had channel 8890 available and a random manual recording. Kinda interesting. Anybody else have this happen.

I've had a few push recordings, but not like what you saw.

That was probably a recording for inserted ads. This is usually done in the background with no indication to the viewer.
