Pay Per View and DirecTV DVR

In my area, if you have Time Warner cable and their DVR cable box, they do not allow you to DVR PPY movies, sports, etc. I do not have this problem with my D* service and my D* DVR. Anyone know if D* plans to go the TWC route and prevent us from DVRing PPV?

Time Warner will not let you recored it?

I don't think Directv will ever do this. Basically you pay for it just like you do all of your other programming so you should be able to record it. There is nothing special about PPV except you are paying more to watch a movie before it goes to the premium channels.
