Password Help

Ive got a ARIZA Xtreme satellite reciever and my son had put a password on it, He cant remember what the password was, and so now i cant scan for my channel list
Would anyone know how to reset the password?

Well i have the Ariza and the master code is 0786, but its not working..

uh oh.

I dont know if this works or not but you might want to try and download the factory software again. This might clear the passwords (I cant guarantee that)

but it sais in order for me to do that i need the password first

not to download the software. You should be able to download software from azira and override it. i've done that before (not on an Azira receiver)

Found out how to do it

-menu
-right arrow to status
-Press Ok
-QUICKLY press 3749 and it should work (default back to 0000)

oh and tell your son to keep his damn hands off switching the password

just press 3749 in the status window..where it sais Model #, Serial #
