Parental Locks & Timer

If I want to set the timer to record a show, that would carry one of my set parental locks (like Fat Actress), what happens when the tuner changes channels?

And if I set my DVDR to record it, am I going to record 30 minutes of the "Unlock" screen?

I do not use the feature much but I believe that is how it works.
