Is there a way to archive the stuff that I have recorded in HD onto Bluray disk? I have a bluray burner on my HTPC. What I would like to do is hook up the Esata drive to my HTPC and archive events like the superbowl and grammy's ect on to bluray. These feeds are phinominal and its a shame that they cant be saved forever.

Please take no offence in what I am about to write.

The only solution with the Pansat 9200 HD is to get an external PVR or spend a lot of money on a HDMI capture card for your PC (Provided your PC is fast enough) and play back the shows into your PC or external PVR.

Best of luck

Provided your Pansat 9200 PVR is recording to your drive properly, all you should have to do is to convert the .TS files to MPEG2 and then use a Blu-Ray authoring program to add the resulting MPEG2 files to a Blu-Ray layout. Finally, you would burn the layout to disc.

What BD burner do you have? The LG GGW-H20L?

EDIT: Seems as though the Pansat 9200 uses a non-standard file system, so the hard drive cannot be mounted on a Windows PC. Here is another thread on the topic, although it doesn't look like a solution was found:

This kills any consideration of a Pansat 9200 in my future...

Extracting files from Pansat 9200 PVR

I do not own a Pansat 9200 nor am I familiar with it but I recently read on another website forum about a person who had contacted DR DOS about extracting files from a HDD that was formatted by his Pansat 9200. He received the following reply:

"If you purchased and installed DR DOS v7.03 and installed on the target PC, you should be able to just "copy" the files from the external HDD.

The software is available through our website http://www.drdos.com

Regards,

DR DOS Operations"

Hope this might help someone.
