Newbie here...I was given a Pansat 400B and told it was a FTA receiver.
Does anyone know anything about this receiver? Can I use it?
I can't seem to find ANYTHING about it on the web.

Any help would be appreciated....

400b

Send it to me and I'll let you know.

Actually, I believe you're talking about the KR-400B??? That's analog only.

It is a KR-400B, can it be used for anything? I hooked it up to a dish and found
a signal (on my finder) , but nothing out of the receiver. (wouldn't even acknowledge the signal).

Thanks

sounds like an analog only reciever

If you can aim the dish at AMC2 (85W) dial up channel 24 H (12180 frequency). There is a test card there
