Pansat 3500s with analog dish mover???

i was wondering if a pansat 3500s with analog dish mover will move my 8.5 birdview or 10 ft perfect 10 dish? Will it control the servo motor? will it move the dish just like old uniden 4400. can i use the c band ribbon cable to run the pansat 3500s? I am after the alaska local networks on dvb plus all the other network stations so i can get football game. Anybody seen the new pansat 5000 yet? Thanks for all info...

The Pansat will not operate the actuator .

It will operate the servo motor though.

The VBOX translates DiSEqC 1.2 commands from the Pansat to positioner settings for an actuator. I'm doing this right now with mixed results.

This thread is some of us VBOX owners trying to get it sorted out. Right now we're anxiously awaiting the arrival of Thomas's VBOX II to see if it works any better.
