Pansat 3500 Interaction with Dish 625

I am signing up for Dish and they are giving me a dvr dual tuner model 625 which will handle 2 tv's... I also have a pansat 3500 FTA receiver. I need help figuring how to connect these 2 receivers together so that I am able to record the pansat programs on the 625 receiver's hard drive.

If this way works, it'd be pretty lame.
Can you hook the channel 3/4 out of the Pansat to the TV Ant input on the 625?

There are no video/audio inputs on the 625 (nor 622) to allow you to record external source material.

edit:
oh wait, I'm thinking about the 622 hi def pvr... let me double check the 625...
looks like the 625 does NOT have an off-the-air tuner, so I can't think of any way to accomplish your goal.

you can't....The HDD on the 625 is only for DIsh programs

Could you use a diseqc switch or something similar to record the pansat channels... doubt it's possible, but hey, there's lots of stuff I'm doing with fta at the moment that if you'd asked me before I tried them, I would have told you would be impossible.
