dfergie, will you be covering any new Panasonic camcorders? I almost pulled the trigger on a new one the other day but I thought I would wait and see if there's any new improvements. If you get an opportunity, could you find out what model will be the replacement for last years HDC-TM90? Thanks.

We'll give it a try :)

Some of the new models... we went thru a comparison of 2011 vs 2012 plasma & LCD models in a dark showroom, the difference was impressive, also saw some 4k 20" monitors that were impressive... The multi screen demo was way impressive, especially after they activate the 3D ...

Their plasmas look nice this year, they finally started styling like the Koreans have and they did a good job. Blacks are supposed to have improved a little again as well. As much as I loved Panasonic plasmas, they will be hard pressed to steal me back from Samsung.

They did some things with predischarge, and filtering that Im sure helped in dark and bright rooms.

I've come to realize the blacks arent as much of the total PQ as certain folks would have you think.

OK, 65" VT50... Who is interested?

The tech details for 2011 vs 2012.

Pretty simple and easy animations. I think this model is gonna be real interesting. Blacks should be improved with better predischarge, we have an uncrease in the subfield drive as well as 4 or so times the gradiation increase. Also another improvement of the louvered filter.

Very nice unit. Just got my 67 inch Sammy LED DLP a few years ago so am looking forward to how much the technology will advance when it goes out which I do not forsee happening anytime soon. Maybe as big of a change in television as much as it was from SD to HD in the next 7-10 years?

ST TV models are hitting as well as lower UT. 65" VT preorder price is now $3600 delivered, which will be hard for me to pass up.
