Owned equipment -- how do I find directv programming?

Perhaps this has been discussed before.. if so, just tell me where to find the thread.
I don't want a contract, I have my own (see photo) and want month-to-month with no contract. I have been told by retailers it's not possible. But is it? How about a
commercial subscription, do they do month-to-month?

I know dish network offers no commitment but you pay a fee upfront I think its 199 or 299.

To my knowledge DirecTv doesn't offer no contract without doing a 2 year contract first.

I've worked for DTV for a year now.

Even if you paid a boatload of money for a owned receiver that was brand new (D* wont activate old equipment on a new account) there is still an agreement

Thanks guys. My farm (photo) has dish/direct + FTA and of course C band
I was looking for a way to do this with direct as I did 8 years ago with dish.

Guess I will need to find a direct subscriber whose wants to let it go and take it over
which is basically what I was doing before.

comment.. if K-SAT had won with bill S889 in 1988 we would never have had to
deal with monopolies like this. Ohh well.

You can't really take over someones DirecTv account either.. it would never be in your name. Which could cause problems
