Well, I signed up last Saturday to become a new customer with the HD package, install was to be on Tuesday morning. I read about some folks being rescheduled due to lack of 811 availability. I called on Sunday & spoke with both Dish & the contracted sub. Both said there was no problem regarding availability of the 811 and the install would occur as scheduled. Well I get a call on Monday afternoon telling me that they are going to have to reschedule due to lack of 811's.
D* really needs to drop all marketing regarding this package if they are unable to meet demand. I would be interested to see if anything is mentioned on the chat regarding this issue...
