I use a good antenna to receive the local channels. I want to plug the antenna into the antenna input of the DISH 322 dual tuner receiver and send that out to the tv hooked up to both televisions hooked up to the receiver. When I tried this, I only saw my local channels on the tv hooked up to the tuner 1 output. This should work. What am I missing something? Thanks.

As far as I know the OTA antenna will only work on TV 1. You can get around this with a 942, by "recording" the show and playing back on TV 2, but since the 322 isn't a DVR, I don't know of a work around. Sorry.
the 322 doesn't have an ota tuner, it's only a pass through. When you turn off the recieve the tv gets the antenna coax.
What you need to do is take the TV2 coax and the antenna cable and put that into a splitter backwards and send it to the tv2

Hi. New to posting here, but not a new reader. I have been searching for a solution to my problem, and it seems I have almost found one. haha.
I too am in the same situation as the OP. I have an OTA antenna going into the antenna in on a 322 receiver, and of course it shows up only on TV1. I need it to show up on TV2, prefereably as well, or just on TV2.
When you say backwards, what do you mean? Mind writing clearer instructions for me? I'd appreciate it!!

take a 2 to 1 splitter (well you'll actually need two)
take the ota output and plug it into the splitter, plug one output to the 322 receiver plug the other output to the output of the second splitter and plug the tv2 output into the other output of the splitter. plug the cable that goes to tv2 into the input

Thanks a lot BFG!! Worked like a charm. AFter I mapped it out and sat back and looked at it it, I thought to myself "duh!". I can see completly why it works. Don't know why I didn't think of it.
