Home cable sytem? What exactly do you mean? If you mean can you hook your computer up to act as a pvr and/or tv set for your cable - sure. Just get an ati-all-in-wonder card or something similar. If you are asking if you can hack cable with your computer to get a subscription that you aren't paying for, I think you are asking in the wrong place...
