I have an HDTV setup in my basement with satellite HD and an indoor antenna for local channels. However, since I'm in the basement, the signal is not very reliable. I'm about 15 miles from most of the signals, so when I do get it, it is pretty good.
My problem is that I only have one coax cable running from my basement to the dish. It would take a lot of digging and drilling to get a seperate line for a outdoor antenna. My question is, can I use the coax from my HD reciever to the satellite for an outdoor antenna, or do I need an seperate line? I've seen the outdoor antennas that wrap around dishes, but am unsure if I need an additional line.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
