Has anyone found a solution to the picture pixelation and sound breakup on recordings made on OTA channels on the HWS. I have tried everything that has been posted on this forum. Nothing has worked.

I'm still having breakup problems on my Hopper 3 along with all the connected Joeys and 4k Joey.... nothing to do about it except wait for a software update and hope it gets fixed.
Same here. I would probably watch more of the local subchannels, but the audio dropouts are way too distracting. Don't know what else to do. <shrug>
Back in November I heard a rumor that the problem for H3s would be solved by a software release in "mid-December". I thought maybe 506 would do that but no joy. Some have received U507 (not me) but I've seen no comments that it has helped. Fingers still crossed.
OTA seems to work ok on both of my Hopper3 receivers but my Joey 2 still has problems with watching live OTA. I have not done any recording from OTA so I can't comment on OTA recordings.
I was thinking that maybe it was my single OTA adapter, but I can't seem to find the Dual OTA Adapter on the Dish website anymore. Anyone have any ideas where I can find one?

I switched back to the single tuner dongle in the hopes of eliminating the pixilation and sound dropouts. It was a futile effort.

I can attest to the new dongle running hot. Got one yesterday from Dishdepot and it was blazing hot on my new Wally causing freezes and reboots. My older dual tuner ota dongle was much cooler but they looked the same. Waiting for a replacement for the bad one now.
. There was a single tuner dongle, and now a dual ota dongle. There isn’t a 2.0 that I know of . I had a dual dongle on my Hopper 3 and I bought another one with the purchase of the Wally . Sorry if it was confusing.
My HWS with the single tuner dongle updated to U242 and the pixelation problem is still here, but sort of.... OTA on the Hopper does not pixelate anymore, but the pixelation still happens on the Joeys and DishAnywhere app. However if I tune the Hopper to that same OTA station and share all is well on everything.
I get locals pixelation as provided from the satellite. I have a separate OTA setup that also shows some pixelation. This makes me wonder if Dish is actually using an OTA antenna around here. Hard to believe.

I got my dual tuner dongle as soon as I got the U242 update. The dongle has no reference to Dish on it. The image of the dual tuner dongle currently being sold at Dish Depot clearly shows "Dish" on it, which is why I speculated there was perhaps a later version. One that might have addressed the heat and sensitivity issues.
