I bought a OTA antenna since my NBC is out, where can I get the adaptor to plug this into my Hopper 3? I was hoping I could see this on my guide if I had this adaptor, anyone have any details on this and how it works? I see that Dish online doesn't have the adaptor.. Thanks in advance.

** UPDATE, I just saw it on Dishdepot for $69 free shipping, this may be it?!?

Yes, that is it. You get it, attach the antenna to it, plug it into one of the USB ports on your H3 and your H3 will reboot and you're in. You just need to do a scan after the reboot.

Ordered from DishformyRV, it says for DishWally, I hope it works on the Hopper 3, it did not say anywhere..

How is it that dish network is sold out of OTA Dongles and apparently has been for a while but they are available all over the internet from resellers. Do all of them not have to come from dish in the first place.

I agree, very odd. I went to the website and never could find it in the Dish store. So I contacted Dish on live chat, it took me about 3 messages before the person on the other end figured out what I needed. She then said, we're sold out, no estimated time when we'll have it again. She said look online. I think this is very strange, they have very limited accessories on the website.

Dish may be waiting until the second tuner is enabled before selling the new OTA dongle, supposedly in May. Ebay seller emgoods2012 has them for $60, free shipping right now ( no affiliation with me ). I did find out the new OTA dongle doesn't work with the VIP211Z, so I may be getting a Wally to replace the VIP211Z.
