OTA Antenna Recommendations

Just got a DTV HDTV receiver. I am trying to get local OTA HDTV signals. Can anyone recommend a good (small) antenna to be used. I am only 6 miles from the broadcast location, but on anntennaweb it says that I need a medium multidirectional antenna (red). Thanks for the input.

Zenith Silver Sensor for small indoor antenna UHF only though.

Great entry level antenna for the distance you are at. I'm approx 18mi from the towers and it worked great. Start at the bottom and work your way up.---Ray

I would recommend you call your local tv affiliates and ask them at what power lewel are they broadcasting at.

Some affiliates still broadcast at low power levels.

Good idea. That would throw things off a bit. Even here between DC and BALT, my sig strenth still varies depending on the time of day. ie: primetime vs any other time.--Ray
