Hi, I'm new here, just had a question.

Last night I upgraded to a 722k, it is going to be installed next Monday. I also got the OTA module.

I just need to know that now that I am going to be able to pick up some of my locals ota, I will still be able to be subscribed to my locals through Dish, right?

The reason I ask is because I am a resident of Runnels county, which is an Abilene, TX local channel region. However, I live closer to San Angelo, TX, and I want to keep up with local news. The problem is that my OTA is not strong enough to pick up FOX from San Angelo, so I have to pick it up through Dish Network's subscription.

Hopefully that is clear enough. Thanks for reading.

You'll keep getting your locals from Dish as long as you keep paying for them. I am unsure whether your EPG will have the correct info for your OTA programming though. It would if you were receiving the same locals OTA that you were getting from Dish, but I don't know whether this works for out-of-market OTA.
