Well as you all know I have the Toshiba HD-DVD and have enjoyed watching HD-DVDs. I decided to also bite the bullet and get the Sony BDP-S1. I put it on order through Amazon (I am a prime member so overnight shipping was only $3.99).
I kept debating on getting the Samsung, but decided to hold out for the Sony. Figured I would be out on vacation most of July so August would not really be much of a delay.
Now of course I will have to update the TV to true 1080p next.... The endless upgrade cycle of consumer electronics....
