To be technical, it sounds like one cant even record off air on VCR/DVR-Not that i'd want to..

It says the same thing at the beginning of a Fighting Sioux game on the FSSN. It says only private homes can view this yet there is a sportsbar complex here in Minneapolis called Joe Senser's (named after the Vikings player) that shows the games. Heck more than once the pxp guy has said "we welcome all our Sioux fans in the Twin Cities watching at Joe Sensers"

At the beginning of the My Network schedule (6:58 & 9:58 CST) on G16 they have the same "warning" message
I thought it was just a copy rite notice, they just don't want any one downloading it and then rebroadcasting it to make money...without them getting their cut!
And I don't really blame them for that, I have been fighting copy rite infringement for years, cuts into a lot of my profit.

I wouldn't worry about the warning unless the lawyers come a-calling. As long as you record it to keep the wife/gf happy and not go spreading it on the torrent sites, you should be fine.

If Oprah did say something about FTA, her sheeple would flock to the FTA dealers (pun intended!) to buy 36" inch dishes and FTA receivers because anything Oprah mentions is gold because of her sheeple. Sadoun should ship her a system to try to get her to plug FTA on her show and he probably would find himself with a huge backorder log.
