Using a 16GB USB flash drive, the receiver stops in a middle of recording with plenty of free space.

Checked the menu options, the Record Manager and HDD Information options were dimmed out as if there is no USB flash drive connected.

Not a good workaround - switched off the receiver, removed the USB and inserted it back in. Switched on the receiver and walla can record again. Thank you.

PS posted this question as part of another thread but did not get a respose so resubmitting as a separate issue.

What length of time is it that you're trying to record as these Openbox receivers won't record for more than 2 hours regardless of how large the drive is? I've tried several times to record baseball games for later viewing but 2 hours is all that I can get, and that's with a 320GB external hard drive.
