Hi
I have recently moved and I took my dish pro 301 with me. At the new location, I found where I could get a clear shot of the sky to pick up 110 and 119. To setup the Dish I connected a very short run of RG59 cable from the digital LNBF to the dish 301 receiver and then from the receiver to a small TV. I used a compass to site the dish and then used the point dish installation program on the receiver. For some reason I can only pick up the odd transponders on 110 and 119.

When I used the point dish installation program to check the switch that is housed in the LNBF, it said that 110 and 119 are both odd.

The only thing I could think of is that the RG59 is not allowing the current to switch the transponders to even. OR The LNBF is worn out (it is only two years old and worked before the move). OR The receiver is bad and not putting out the correct voltage on the line.

PLEASE if you have any insight, list it below. How should I fix this horrible problem? I missed the Super Bowl because of this!

P.S. The reason I am setting the Dish up is because the Installers in this area have a habit of aiming through the trees (this time of year) since they do not know how full the trees get.

Did you happen to run a check switch out side when you sighted in the Dish? If you only showed odd out side then the Receiver is probably bad. The voltage usually switches from 18 to 12 volts to get the odd and even transponders. Sometimes the voltage regulator goes out and you only get one of the two needed voltages.
If you run a CS outside and it shows both odd and even but only odd inside when you run CS their is probably a splitter in the line going to the Receiver from the LNB.

Also what kind of LNBF do you have outside. If they are duals with a SW21 it might be the switch?
