Close call yesterday, but the lions did there part to secure another lost yesterday to fall to 0-13.

Coach marinelli decided on three seperate ocassions to go for it instead of kicking a field goal on fourth down. I guess when you have to high power offense they have you go for it....Oops they missed on all three tries on fouth down

0-16 here we come!!!!

If the Vikes didn't play with the Williams brothers, the Lions most likely would've won. The fact that they did get ok-ed to play at the last second is typical Lion luck. With their remaining schedule, I don't see them winning a single game.

All I could think about before this game was: How insulted must the Vikings feel to be considered an UNDERDOG against the LIONS? I mean the Vikings were the top team in the NFC North and all these analysts were saying that the Lions were going to break their streak. I feel bad for the Lions, but I really would like to see an 0-16 team.

Disapointed in the colts, playing down to the lions. But we kept history alive with another loss. Two more to go!!!

I wish! But this will never happen, unless the entire Ford family is wiped out in some freak accident. As long as there is a Ford alive, they will own this team.
What are the odd of the entire clan dying in firey rear collisions involving their Ford Pintos?

Seriously, "Detroit (0-14) has lost 15 straight and 21 of 22. The Lions are two defeats away becoming the first NFL team to finish 0-16." The odds are the Lions finishing 0-16, with games against New Orleans and Green Bay, appear to be greater than 80%.:(

The only thing I see in the Lion's favor of actually winning a game is that, NO and GB have nothing to play for. I know GB is officialy out of the playoffs and I'm pretty sure NO is also. The Lions on the other hand are committed to staying out of the record books. If they lose Sunday, they will be the first team to go 0-15 in a single season.

I can give you lots of reasons why this (0-16) is very realistic:

#1 - They're at home this week. They have played way better on the road then at home, where the sparse crowds have been verbally abusive, and rightfully so.

#2 - Drew Brees will light the Lion's defense up like a Christmas tree. This may be the worst excuse for a defense that I have ever seen in all my years of watching the NFL!

#3 - Game 16 is at Lambeau Field. I believe 1991 (or thereabouts) was the last time we won there. Probably around the time Favre showed up. At least he's gone now, but the Lions defense has made stars of every QB they have faced this season.

#4 - Something will go wrong, it always does. This team has a real knack for stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

#5 - THEY SUCK!

#6 - It's going to be COLD at Lambeau, and dome teams don't play well outside in December.

#7 - The Lions don't play well in December. Or any other month of the season, for that matter.

#8 - Did I mention that THEY SUCK!

One more to go...and boy did they lie down yesterday, 0-16 here we come. I would love to be in Green Bay to witness history!!

Oh...and to make things real fun, Lions Owner yesterday stated that he sees the management team coming back next year

I feel sick. That A-hole ruined my day, with that announcement. Just sucked any hope of a turn-around out of next season. Just pathetic. What did Detroit do to deserve this?

To quote the team's owner William Clay Ford Jr., "I feel that we are a team of density."

But seriously folks, after next weeks loss at Green Bay I hear the folks at LittleBigPlanet will make a sack figure to commemorate the occasion...it will be called Sad Sack the Detroit Lion, and it will run backwards while wearing jersey number 0-16.:(

Smitty, if you please...

I can't believe Ford would be so dumb.

Honestly, if he hired any of US, the team would do better.

Put ME in at offensive coordinator, make Sandra the D coordinator, and put HD on the sidelines!

Any of us would be better than the idiots runninh the show.

BTW, Ford has surpassed Jerry Jones as football's worst/least liked owner.

That's only in Detroit. The rest of the NFL loves him!

Paul, are you going to go all out on "Daze of Our Lions" after this game's over?

I think to myself, "If Detroit makes history, is Paul going to go all out with his Daze of Our Lions?"

This could be your biggest version yet!
