Some of you might be interested in what One Ministries is doing here in Northern California. It's mainly the project of one guy, Keith, who is President and Chief Engineer.
They are presently running 7 low power stations that cover from the Oregon-California state line down to the San Francisco Bay Area: Redding 23, Chico 11, Sacramento 28 with the transmitter atop Sutter Buttes, Middletown 2 with transmitter atop Mt. St. Helena north of Napa at 2946 feet HAAT, Santa Rosa 27, Cloverdale 3, and San Francisco 3 with transmitter atop Mt. Tamalpais at 2178 feet HAAT. Two more sites have construction permits and are awaiting equipment: San Jose 2 on Loma Prieta Mt. at 2464 feet HAAT and Montery 5.
The network is headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA and all of the stations receive their signals off another station in the line up. Keith makes a change in Santa Rosa and it changes simultaneously on all of the stations. During unusual conditons where we're experiencing inversions or tropo, I've seen some break up, and one time I noticed where the signal on channel 3 here in San Francisco started pixelating and then went to black for a while. The receiver at Mt. Tam lost the incoming signal.
The stations are running 8 sub-channels:
1-Better Life TV out of Medford, OR, which also includes 3ABN from Illinois
2-GOD TV
3-Daystar
4-Infomercials now, soon to be American Uncensored News (AUN)
5-QVC
6-The Walk
7 and 8-ID slide saying that Better Life Health Channel and Spanish Christian TV are coming
