This will be one of the most exciting Tech Chats in a long time...watching the Wings while I chat.
I should have predicted that yet again I would have trouble getting to the chat. Missed it entirely this time, with 20-some machines I can remote-access into, not a one of them would load the chat page properly. And I had no trouble last time.

Well, I'd rate that as an above average tech chat, though admittedly I haven't watched too many of the recent ones.

The ability to down map your national hd channels to their sd equivalent ones. A simple menu change in the locals menu will allow this . THis is cool- no more 9000 numbers on Hbo ,Showtime,STarz , Espn, Espn2 instead in the 300 range for premium movie channels and 140 and 141 on the sports channels. They will all be seen in place of the sd channels.
I did miss the answer on the dishpro plus 44 switch ,due to weather related problems . How do you get the switch to default to the 61.5 sat instead of the 129 on national hd channels. Did anyone hear the answer to that one?

Not possible.
My answer... just unplug the 129. That's what I did, and have been doing for over a year now. Use 61.5 instead.
I hope this is optional. I like having all of the HD channels bunched together. I don't have to go skipping through all of the SD channels that I don't watch.
I thought they still will exist in the 9400's as well. They will map down just like the locals do to be seen with the SD versions....
That is correct, this was shown at CES too and they are in both spots. And they showed last night that you can turn it off if you don't like it. So basically, this should make both sides happy.
I like the way they are doing it actually.
