I recently got an upgrade on my equipment and was told they do not want the old receiver(HR34-700), connected home adapter(DCA2SR0-01) and 3 mini Genie receivers(C31-700). Besides trying to salvage the hard drive, do they have any value?

I would appreciate any ideas on this, thanks.

Do you purchase these from retailer? I am wondering, because they have offered me an upgraded to a Genie system. I have a R-22, HR-22 and HR-24. I have held off because of content I am working on catching up with past seasons and movies.

When you do upgrade, keep your HR24.

No I didn't buy them.....came when I signed up.

Will they let you even without paying the month fee?
When you upgrade your system, just tell them your keeping the HR24 and get a Genie (5 tuner, all Genies are), trade in your r22.
Depending on how many TVs you need to cover, trade in the HR22 as well and get a client.
This way your getting rid of Old equipment for newer stuff.
Keeping the HR24 allows you more Hard Drive space and an option if the Genie should ever go down.

If you replace 1 recvr and get a Genie, it should be an even exchange as far as money goes.

Thank you for the detailed information
