I was an early subscriber to sky angel but dropped it because they didn't offer enough family programing. I mean truthfully as much as I like 700 club or Kenneth C. I don't want to watch the same program 8 times per day on different stations. Give me some good clean wholesome variety. I am seriously considering subscribing again. Hallmark and Hallmark movie would be great. As would American Life network. ( formerly Good Life Network)

My question is this will I have to upgrade receivers in order to receive Sky Angel? I think I have an old 300? or 3100, receiver. Been so long since I used it I am not sure anymore. Does anyone out there know?

I think your receiver should probably still work, but undoubtedly you will need to get one of the new yellow access cards. I should think you could get your questions answered definitively with one call to Sky Angel.

There is definitely more variety now on Sky Angel (one time of listening to Kenneth C. was enough for me; I'm certainly glad he is no longer on 8 different SA channels!). Hope you're tuning in again soon!

I also think there will be no problem reactivating the 3000 receiver, but you may need a new card which Sky Angel will provide. But you should call Sky Angel to make sure. If all else fails a new 301 receiver is relatively cheap.

See ya
