I had to restart my H21 receiver, yesterday and lost all my special commands, such as 30skip and miscellaneous other commands...Could I get some assistance, please?? Thanks!!!

I have to ask how you had 30s skip on an H21?
You probably meant the HR21, right? Anyway, the 30s skip command doesn't change when you restart the receiver.
If by restart you meant you reset the receiver, then those commands may need to be re-entered.

Yes, it is a HR21...and I do need to re-enter commands...my remote would not respond after a power dip in the house and RBR didn't work...
Did some commands work, or none worked?
If none work, you probably were in RF mode, try the following:
1. dtv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 0 0 0 0 1
Test remote if still doesn't work, do the following:
1. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
2. enter 9 6 1
3. press CH UP
4. enter the last 6 digits of the receiver ID #, found on a sticker in the access card compartment
5. press SELECT
