SES Americom has moved Satcom C4 to 105 degrees west.

Panamsat has applied to move Galaxy 9 from 91 degrees west to 74 degrees west.

Those two sat names ought to confuse more than a few 4DTV guys .

C4 & G9 are in use today as AMC10 @135W & Galaxy 13/Horizons1 @127W respectively.

Right... so you have G13 on tile 'G9' - been like that a while. There was no confusion before as there was no 'Galaxy 9' to gun for. Now if you actually want Galaxy 9 you'll use say tile 'G6' - thus the obfuscation.

I like to think of the actual sat names. I got this from starting with FTA and then later going to C-band. I guess if you just concider the orbital slots then who cares .

I'm not sure Satcom C4 will have much on it. It's inclined 2 degrees.
