Okay, first question: Sat 119 / 7S

I've searched all around and done research over the past week or so on D* service, specifically on which direction my dish will need to point on my property. I think I got lucky and that the one opening in my trees is exactly where I need it to be in order to mount the dish where I want it. Anyway, my question is this:

I am in zip code 29687, South Carolina. I have seen the lists here LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite of channels broadcast from each satellite. It seems to me that I don't really need anything coming from DirecTV-7S at 119. Is there any reason I should worry about receiving any information from this satellite? All my locals are on other satellites and from what I can tell the 7S is the only one located that far west.

Well I think D* will be eventually moving most programming over to the MPEG4 sats 99 and 103, but you never know when the decide to use 119 again and put programming over there, there is some there now, but not much.

If you are setting it up yourself, not a problem, but if D* is setting it up, normally they need to be able to see all the sats to complete the order.

if your locals are not on 119, and you are not getting HD, then all your stuff is on 101 (assuming locals on 101).

Yes, but the only HD channels on 119 are ESPN2HD and HDNet I think?
