Odd things happening with my sling and 722k

Hi All,

First ever post on this site. Just got hooked up with my 722k and sling adapter. It has it's moments but I was prepared for that as I've been following reviews for awhile before committing, but overall, I really love this option. We have a cabin in Alaska that we only use now and then and didn't want to commit to expensive monthly bills for cable TV (you can't get Dish in our area) Now we are able to watch our shows and live local TV so we're pretty happy. But I want to ask you guys something to see if anyone else is experiencing this or not. We also have a 1TB external HD attached. I called Dish and asked if we would be able to access this using our sling and they said no. That was fine, but I am finding that when we hit DVR option on remote access, it is also bringing up programs that aren't on the DVR but are on the HD. Again, this is fine by us, but a little "weird" - my guess is, that it is just "remembering" what used to be on the DVR ? what do you think ?

Normal. I can access my ehd just fine from DOL.

You can access the EHD from Dish online, I can with my VIP612. It appears at the moment only with the Hopper you can't.

The whole sling idea, either the adapter for Dish, or even more an actual Slingbox is one my favorite inventions for TV. Other than satellite....
