As you might have noticed our automated Dish Network Uplink Report has not been outputing 100% accurate reports over the last few weeks.
The reason for this is due to the fact that Dish Network has started duplicating channels from 110/119 to 61.5 as they get ready to roll out their new all MPEG4 service which we here at SatelliteGuys refer to as the "Eastern Arc" service.
When they add them to 61.5 even though they are still available on their origional location our software has been removing them because the software we capture the data with can not handle the duplicate entries.
While Digiblur has been working hard to fix the issue, the true problem lies within the datstream capture software we are using. At this time it does not appear the issue will be fixed, however the problem should go away when Dish Network officially turns on the new Eastern Arc Service for customers.
We have been lucky enough to have the godfather of uplink reports John H lend us his corrections over the past few weeks and thank him for his assistance. John still does his reports the old fashioned way... by hand.
We apologize for the issue and thank you for your patience in this matter.
