No signal on my Sat-go

I saw a Direct Tv Sat-Go in action at a football game, so I bought one. When I received my first one, all I could get was signals on the upper banks, so I thought it was defective and swapped it out. Guess what! Same thing. My setting is 45 degree angle and 198 azimuth. I have gone out to an empty parking lot and still get no signal and I do mean no signal. I have gone through the satellite setup. They tell you to set the satellite to round and no matter what angle or azimuth, I still get no signal. I have tried various angles and azimuths and still get no signal.

Can anyone help? I know the thing works but I must be doing something wrong. I spent 3 hours with the support people to no avail.
