No Signal I need help!!!!!!

Hey guys I'm a newbie here and I have a problem, this morning I noticed my signal was not coming in on my HDDVR receiver in my living room so I went out site to slightly adjust the dish. Well now I have NO SIGNAL and the kind people at Direct TV said they cannot have someone come over until the 14th a whole 10 days from now. So I wanted to know is there anything I can do myself to fix the problem

Keep tweaking it using very small changes...you've got nothing to lose now.

It's best if you have somebody call out signal strengths to you as your adjusting it, so you don't over correct.

Also, remember the tweaking is not instance, so move the dish slightly, give it a second or two for the strength to pop in.
also,, did you loosen the bolts ?
I usually suggest just placing a small amount of pressure on the dish sides and see which direction corrects your problem, then loosen slightly to adjust.

Only takes slight movements, chances are if you didn't loosen all the bolts you can still work with what you have.
Try left and right first, then up and down, with slight pressure on the reflector.
When you get signal back you will know what adjustments are needed.

Might want to mark your original positions with a pencil line, just in case.
