I'd posted this on another board and there were a few who knew nothing about it, so I figured I would post it on here as well.
Hey I was just on the phone with DTV CSR and they wanted to know if a I had a B Band Converter. They said I would recongize it as a small gray box that hangs from the back of the satellite input connectors on the back of my HD reciever. Apparently it's required in order to recieve the new HD channels coming out this month. If you don't have one call DTV and ask them to order you one or two if you have a HR20, it's free of charge and required for viewing.
I also learned that you can use the mover connection deal to move your equipment around the house if you wanted to relocate a STB from one room to another and cables would be required to be rerun or installed, it's a once a year deal or should I say option. It's a savings of $70 which is the normal DTV service charge.
This maybe already known but just in case it wasn't, NOW YOU KNOW!
